Are appointments required?
Yes. In order to assure that each of our clients is not inconvenienced by waiting and receives the proper attention and service, all clients are seen by appointment only.
When are you open for appointments?
We are open for appointments Friday thru Tuesday from 10am to 6pm. We are generally closed Wednesdays and Thursdays.
How long does the first/ consultation appointment last?
The consultation appointment usually lasts about an hour. At this appointment measurements will be taken, design information/ specs will be gone over and the designer/ client contract finalized. There is a $20 consultation for this appointment, due at time of service. In the event that a client decides to elect our services the consultation fee will be credited towards final purchase.
How long in advance should I order my garment?
Most custom pieces have a production time of 3-4 weeks. However, in the event of a wedding/ special occasion garment please allow 3 months for production. There are often more details involved in these pieces that require more time.
Why are your garments priced so much higher than factory produced goods?
We work with high quality, luxury fabrics such as alpaca wool, bamboo, linen, Egyptian cottons, silk and silk blends. The quality of mass produced merchandise is that of acceptable. Our custom, handmade goods and services are couture based and therefore, much higher quality, taking more time to produce and therefore, cost more.
Are you able to visit a clients home for consultations/ fittings?
On occasion, we can visit a client’s home for consultations and fittings, however, anything outside of our normal work area will be charged a travel fee.
We are more than willing to work with clients who wish to purchase their own fabric and notions. We may on occasion reject fabric of poor quality as it will only result in a poor quality project. We are willing to go shopping with our clients in order to make sure that the correct fabrics and notions are purchased for the project. In these circumstances, a shopping fee will be applied.

Products, Content and Specifications
Each piece is handmade with professional finishing. We make all reasonable efforts to accurately display the attributes of our products, including the applicable colors; however, the actual color you see will depend on your computer system and we cannot guarantee that your computer will accurately display such colors.
Payment
Casa di Rosati accepts all major credit cards, PayPal, Google Checkout and Amazon Simple Pay. We also accept checks, however, all orders paid by check will be placed on hold until verification of funds has been made. Please allow extra order processing time for this if choosing to pay by check.
All California orders will be charged California State Sales Tax.
Shipping
Local buyers can schedule a pick-up, however, must specify this in the notes of the order. You will receive an email or phone call to confirm this option, and a date and time for pick up will be arranged.
All orders not picked up are shipped through Priority Mail via USPS. International orders will be shipped first class. Please note that there may be additional charges, duties or custom fees associated with international shipping. It is your responsibility to make sure that these duties and fees are paid to receive your shipment.
Additional shipping options are available upon request, however, may result in an increased shipping rate.
When an order is placed, it will be shipping to an address designated by the purchaser. Please make sure that the shipping information entered is correct. All purchases from this Web Site are made pursuant to a shipment contract. As a result, risk of loss and title for items purchased from this Web Site pass to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier. You are responsible for filing any claims with carriers for damaged and/or lost shipments.
All items are packaged and shipped with excessive care.
Refunds and Exchanges
RTW store items in original condition may be returned for a store credit or exchanged within 10 days of shipment. Original condition means that the item has not been worn, altered, or washed and must have all tags still attached. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 760-881-4CDR for a return authorization number BEFORE returning any item. This allows us to credit your account and look for the item in the mail. Any items returned without a return authorization number will be denied and sent back to the purchaser. Please note: We will issue you a credit once we have received the merchandise.
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer returns or exchanges on custom items. This includes a specified theme or variation on any item for sale in our store.
Shipping charges will not be refunded.
Custom Items
Please allow 3-4 weeks from time of payment to time of shipment on custom pieces. For wedding and special occasion garments, please allow 3 months for production. Rush orders are possible, but may include a rush order fee.
All custom orders require a non-refundable, 50% deposit to place the order. The balance may be spread into 3 payments after that, but the balance must be paid in full by the time of shipment or pickup.
We are not responsible for inaccurate measurements. It is recommended that you get professionally fitted to ensure accuracy. Custom orders will be produced in the appropriate size, according to measurements received from the purchaser, but may require alterations through a local tailor; such is the nature of custom work without being able to personally do the fittings. You are responsible for any costs associated with alterations.
Custom orders may not be cancelled once production has started for any reason, including change of mind, change of plans, or cancellation/ delay of event. Order may only be cancelled if and only if production has not yet begun.
We are unable to offer returns or exchanges on custom items. This includes a specified theme or variation on any item for sale in our store.
Deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances unless order is cancelled within 48 hours of being placed.
